Parking is available at the venue and there is no charge. Walking from the parking deck to The Revelry: Head to the back of the parking deck an take the elevator or stairs down to the front entrance of The Revelry.

Important Event Details for In-Person Guests
The Charlotte Hope Gala is Black Tie Attire.
When making your way to the 2024 Charlotte Hope Gala, please put the parking deck address into your map – 120 Razades Way, Charlotte, NC 28206. Parking is available at the venue and there is no charge. Walking from the parking deck to The Revelry: Head to the back of the parking deck an take the elevator or stairs down to the front entrance of The Revelry.
The event will be at the Revelry at Camp North End at 6:00pm on April 20, 2024.
Cocktail Hour will be held from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
Prior to entering the Cocktail reception, all guests must go through our check-in process located at the entrance.
All guest will be asked to link a credit card to their account. Cards will not be charged until the week following the event, and payment methods can easily be changed by emailing Sally Langan at slangan@jdrf.org.
Following Cocktail hour, dinner will be in the Ballroom at 7:30pm. The program will take place between 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
For the best bidding experience, please turn off Wi-Fi when you enter the venue. Don’t forget, you may set “max bids” on Greater Giving for your favorite items and enjoy the evening without constantly checking your phone to see if you’ve been out-bid.
Auction Pick-Up will be available at the end of the program.
If you have any changes to your guest record in the days leading up to the event, please contact one of us as soon as possible. All guests are asked to provide a mailing address. If you have not done so, or have recently changed addresses, please let us know.

Auction Rules
Bidding on all silent auction items will be on mobile bidding.
Bidding on the auction items will be on your smartphone via mobile bidding. You will receive a personal link via text from JDRF. This link is personalized to you, tied directly to your personal account and bidding activity. This personal link should not be shared.
You may skip ahead to the bid amount you want to pay. The next bidder must bid higher than you to be successful.
A pre-registered credit card is required to begin bidding. If you would like to complete payment through another method (i.e. check) please contact slangan@jdrf.org. Credit cards will be processed following the event. We accept all major credit cards.
JDRF will communicate with all winning bidders after the auction closes regarding auction item pick-up/delivery/shipping. Winning bidders are responsible for any shipping and insurance charges.
Auction Item and Sales Information
All sales are final; there will be no exchanges or refunds.
JDRF has endeavored to catalog and describe the property correctly, but all property is sold “as is.” No statements contained in the catalog or made verbally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed a warranty, representation or assumption of liability
Items depicted in the slide presentation are for illustrative purposes only.
JDRF reserves the right to remove any item from sale.
Certificates and Vouchers
For non-tangible items, you will receive an envelope, which will contain certificate(s) for your item(s) or a voucher providing you with directions on how to collect your certificate(s).
Please carefully check your envelope which will contain a voucher and certificates. Pay specific attention to all conditions, restrictions and expiration dates on items and services.
Unless otherwise stated, restaurant certificates exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity, and may have certain date restrictions.
Expiration Dates and Scheduling
Except where otherwise noted by the donor, services, tickets and certificate items are subject to mutually agreed upon times and dates.
All arrangements for trips, parties, and similar events must be made in advance, unless otherwise stated on the certificate. When using airline gift certificates, all participants and their guests must travel together.
Unless otherwise stated, all certificates expire on May 11th, 2025.
Travel Rules and Restrictions
JDRF assumes no responsibility for travel arrangements, unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be made for cancelled tickets and accommodations. All arrangements and coordination of items (air and hotel, caterer and entertainment, etc.) must be made by the item buyer and only with the contact person designated on the donation certificate or documentation. All air transportation is subject to blackout dates. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend upon it.
All hotel/resort reservations are based on availability unless the certificate states a specific date.
Travel awards may not be sold or transferred and are not redeemable for cash.
Once ticketed, route and name changes are not allowed.
Alcohol cannot be shipped. Wines and spirits may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. Local pick-up or delivery only.

Note: For tax purposes in regard to auction purchases, all contributions in excess of the fair market value of the item are tax deductible as a gift to a charitable organization. JDRF encourages all attendees, donors and contributors to consult the appropriate IRS Revenue Ruling 67-246 and their tax consultant.
